The course assumes you already have some basic Python programming knowledge, so it’s not starting from the veryyyy beginning but I always find the first 25% or so of these things hard to get through if the material sounds familiar to me. [1/100] Today I’m kicking off #100DaysOfData , a little data science spin on the #100DaysOfCode challenge. I really want to start from square one with Python and build up my skills in Tableau. So here’s the plan: I’m going to spend at least one hour every day working through online Python and Tableau courses, using what I learn to build data visualizations on the side 📈 Why am I doing this? Well, since starting my first data job almost one year ago (holy sh can’t believe it’s been that long), I’ve fallen into the predictable rut of neglecting my personal projects and not intentionally investing time into my education (I say “intentionally”, because I do learn a lot just in the day-to-day of doing my job - but I want to prioritize learning outside of work, too). . I hope that by going through this challenge and sharing the experience with you, I can maybe be a better resource for those interested in learning Python or getting into data science.
