Meet Sinéad Burke (@thesineadburke ). Sinéad has achlasia, a common form of dwarfism, and is using her disability to shine light on the need for more inclusivity in the world of fashion.
“I constantly ask the question, ‘Who’s not in the room?’ And then my work is to make sure that I can answer that question and bring those people into the room, because I think that’s how we gain true progress,” says Sinéad. “I look at my role as an advocate for amplifying different types of voices.” 💕

Meet Kechi Okwuchi (@kechiofficial ). After being one of two survivors in a plane crash, she discovered her voice, through music and in advocating for other burn survivors. “If I’m constantly giving out the impression that I’m very self-conscious about how different I look, or that my scars make me uncomfortable, or I’m always focused on my appearance, I feel like that’s all other people will see about me — because that’s all I’m projecting out there,” explains Kechi. “I feel like being my authentic self is a way for me to help other people feel comfortable with me.”

It’s our anniversary! Today we are celebrating FIVE YEARS as Kentucky Hempsters 👯♀️🌿🙏🏼 Thank you to everyone who has been keeping up with our adventures and supporting us along the way! When we launched this platform, we had no idea what it would become or where we would be today.... but here we are! #Hemp is LEGAL and Kentucky is growing thousands and thousands of acres of it. It’s been incredible seeing what we thought was just a pipe dream (pun intended) become a reality! This is just the beginning and we are so excited for what the future holds for us, and this industry! ✨ Three cheers to five years, and many many more! Come celebrate with us this week at Henry Clay's Hemp Social in Lexington! 🥂
When I was born the doctors told my parents I would always have low muscle tone and there was nothing that could be done to change that! Look at me now working out with Olympic Champion @lauriehernandez 💗💗💗Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t do something! #nolimits#yougotthis ...
The crown-of-thorns starfish is a sea star named for the spines that cover its body and arms. These starfish are known to be more successful at preying on large swaths of coral reefs when the corals are already stressed. During times of coral bleaching or stresses caused by human activities, outbreaks of the crown-of-thorn starfish may be particularly destructive. Scientists consider it a species of concern - not because its numbers are too low but because locally high numbers can threaten other species. Learn more about these voracious predators and how Oceana works to protect our oceans and coral reefs from the sort of threats that these starfish exploit in our Marine Life Encyclopedia at OCEANA.ORG/MARINE-LIFE
