I recently returned from a super fun road trip around the Canadian Rockies with help from @travelalberta and @tourismjasper and I have to say that this time of year is without a doubt one of my absolute favorites. The collision of seasons is nothing short of magical in these parts. And even with some activity restrictions due to breaking my ankle 5 weeks ago, I was still able to enjoy so many of these classic spots. The only season I have left to experience out here is winter. Although a winter visit has often crossed my mind, for some reason it still hasn’t quite happened yet but hopefully that is about to change!
My favorite mode of travel lately 🛶
There is definitely something magical about getting out on the water, and on this day I had a lot of fun playing around with my new @getoclu action camera! I love the wide angle for shots like this one 😍 #OCLUpartner ...
— Taipei has been so chill. With a full 10 days here, I’ve just been leisurely walking around enjoying the city. Not rushing from spot to spot, rather, just getting to know the place - people watching, eating street food, drinking bubble tea (fun fact: did you know Taiwan was the birthplace of bubble tea? Bit of asian trivia for ya).
Also another another fun fact: This image is actually a 5 shot vertical pano shot with my 85mm f1.4GM. I wanted the depth, but the composition was too tight for the focal length.

Just a friendly reminder for my fellow Canadians to go out and vote today! Advanced polls for the federal election are still open today, and your last chance will be on October 21st. If you aren’t sure about who to vote for, check out the Maclean’s voter guide - it outlines each parties view on key issues and is an excellent resource.
Young people in Canada tend to have the lowest voter turnout, yet we are starting to outnumber older generations. The policies that come into place effect all of us, so it’s important that the politicians we vote into office reflect more than just a small fraction of the population. Being engaged and informed has a much bigger impact than apathy ever will, so it’s important to encourage those around you to get involved. Happy voting! 😄🧡 ...

Todays destination 😍 We continue to explore our immediate area, and today we did an almost 15 km roundtrip to visit one of the oldest cabins in Saariselka, Rumakuru. Built around 1900, this cozy old cottage was well worth the snowy walk ❄🐾 ...
