When you put your life on the internet, you invite a certain amount of opinions, about your thoughts, words, and actions...some of those opinions you’ll like, and some you won’t, that’s life 🤷🏻‍♀️

The first thing I take into consideration when receiving feedback, the source. Is this a person I respect? Are they knowledgeable about me and/or the subject they are bringing up? Do they care about me as a person? ✨

If someone I love, admire or respect is taking time out of THEIR day to give me information that will help ME grow, improve or rethink, fuck yes, sign me up for that! I literally pay people to do that for me, and that person cares about me enough to do it for free! In my book, that’s a keeper! ✨

Trolls, or people who have too much time on their hands....honestly couldn’t effect me less. Harsh criticisms like comments about my body, my personality or frankly anything that person likely knows nothing about...says soooooooo much more about them than it’ll ever say about me✨

If you have so little going on in your life that taking time to comment ‘fat whore’ on my photos is actually on your list of things to do...first thank you for boosting my engagement, and second I hope you find more fulfilling things to do with your time...or don’t...makes no difference to me ;) ✨

DROPPING DOWN TO THE BODY:
🧠 This is a short snippet from a far longer video for my new project in which I discuss different methods of dropping down to the body. Here i’m demonstrating “dropping in to your knees” to change height and retain balance through the rotation. The combination starts with a jab cross and is follow by lead hook, rear hook to the body.

Did you know that rest days are just as important as working out⁉️⁣

I feel like we all take on the “must work out every day” mindset at some point in our fitness journey & completely forget that one of the most important parts of exercising effectively is giving our bodies time to recover☝🏼⁣

Rest days allow your muscles, nerves, bones, and connective tissue time to rebuild. Sleep is also SUPER important because it aids in the repairing & rebuilding of muscles post-workout😴⁣

In a typical week, I workout 5x & take 2 days of rest but sometimes ends up being 3 or 4 rest days if I have a super hectic week with work. I remember that I used to get soooo upset when I wasn’t able to workout (ik it sounds dramatic but its a real story😂) But over time I’ve realized that its really not a big deal & that a few days without the gym will NOT affect your progress significantly🙅🏽‍♀️⁣

💡My main message today is to get at 6-8 hours of sleep every night & to schedule a couple days a week to let your body heal and recover🙏🏼.

Mir fällt zurzeit extrem auf wie unzufrieden viele Leute momentan sind. Ich habe selber grad zu kämpfen positiv zu sein da ich überhaupt kein Wintermensch bin und diese Jahreszeit fällt mir immer extrem schwer. Es geht schnell und man bewegt sich in einer Abwärtsspirale. Alles ist kacke. „Ich hab so viel zu tun; es ist kalt; meine Kinder sind stressig; ich bin nur am kochen; scheiss Wetter; ich bekomme meine Erkältung nicht los; ich kann nachts nicht durchschlafen; jeder will was von mir;...“ ➡️Das ist aber alles Einstellungssache und jeder hat es in seiner Hand. Unser Pastor @theoehemann sagt immer „mach en 10er“. Damit meint er, wenn du schlechte Gedanken hast oder alles schwarz siehst, sag 10 Sachen für die du dankbar bist. YES. Ich find das so Hammer und es funktioniert einfach immer. ➡️ „cool, dass ich einen gut laufenden Job habe; mein Haus ist warm und gemütlich; ich habe wunderbare Kinder; ich habe Lebensmittel im Übermass zum Essen; ich hab warme Winterklamotten und stylische Gummistiefel; ich bin gesund und habe keine schlimme Krankheit oder schmerzen; ich habe 2 Wunschkinder bekommen und ein mega Bett; ich habe viele Menschen in meinem Leben die sich für mich oder meine Arbeit interessieren und bin dafür mega dankbar;....). 🚨YOU CHOOSE.
