People usually regret not taking the risk and they rarely regret taking one.
Because taking risk takes you closer to your goals, and it starts the momentum going for you.
And you never lose, you can always learn from the risks that you have taken but that haven't worked out.
As Thomas Edison said about failing 10'000 times while trying to light up a light bulb - I didn't fail, I just found 10'000 different ways that didn't work. And each one brought him closer to what he wanted achieve.
So don't be afraid to take risks (unless it's stupid dangerous for you and your life and the lives of people around you), and you will start to see your life improving.

A rejection from a girl or anyone is never a real rejection. There is no such thing as rejection, rejection is just an invented word.
The concept of Rejection has been invented by chumps to shame a man (or woman...) for taking action in an area that the chump was too much of a pussy to take action in.
Learn from the OG Paulo Coelho:
"To the warriors of light, there is no such thing as impossible love. They don’t allow themselves to be intimidated by silence, or by rejection. They know that – behind the icy mask people wear – there is a heart of fire. That is why the warriors risk more than others. They tirelessly seek love – even if this means hearing, many times over, the word ‘no’, returning home defeated, feeling rejected in body and soul. Warriors don’t allow themselves to be discouraged. Without love, live has no meaning."
