✏️One of the most primary, pivotal + influential relationships formed in our lives is between child + Mother. As kids we look to our Mothers for love + safety. Before we become our individuated ‘self’, self for the baby = Mother + Baby
✏️In the eyes of the child, our Mothers are a part of us. It is only over time, we grow to see + experience her as separate
✏️The mother is integral to our development; a safe space, stability, a home
🔎The Mother Wound can be seen as a set of unconscious limiting beliefs that have been passed down + internalized through generations
🔎Some of us may have been raised by marvelous Mothers; loving Mothers, with wounded souls. Some of us may have had a very different experience, with a Mother who was distant, consuming, critical or abusive
🔎However we experienced our parent, as children we still look to our Mothers for love, safety + stability. We learn, both implicitly + explicitly, how to achieve these; internalizing core beliefs as a form of emotional survival. We experience it first as children, + carry this inner child with us into adulthood

Sometimes we just have to surrender and let go of control because not every season is meant to be the season when we reap a rewards. Sometimes we are required to have patience in the season of waiting. Don’t underestimate God’s plan. He wants you to trust him and slow down. Roadblocks, rejections, detours are not there to prevent you from your blessings, they are there to protect you and save you from things that are not meant for you or prepare you for the blessings that are just around the corner. Trust redirection, find peace in the wait, you will soon receive blessings that are meant for you. If you are in the season of waiting, you are not alone, trust the timing and use this time wisely. What is Kundalini Yoga? ✨

A combination of Bhakti Yoga (devotional yoga of chanting) and Raja Yoga (practice of meditation mental/physical control) it also contains elements of Hatha, Bandha, Pranayama, Asana Kryia (self discipline, self study & devotion) also Laya Yoga (dissolution, absorption and extinction) it is free from duality. ✨
The practise of Kriyas and Meditation in Kundalini Yoga are designed to create full body awareness to prepare the body, nervous system and mind to handle the energy of Kundalini rising.
Breath work and Bhandas aid to release, direct and control the flow of Kundalini Energy from the lower energy centres to the higher energy centres. ✨
All techniques taught are to cleanse the nadis (subtle energy pathways) to help awaken Kundalini Energy.
Kundalini Yoga may often be considered a dangerous form of Yoga because of the involvement of the subtle energies especially if the participant is unaware or has not prepared for awakening.
The practise is thought to help achieve understanding of a the human consciousness to allow humans to achieve their ultimate creative potential, it is also thought to help liberate ones Karma (the fate of our future existences) and realise ones Dharma (life purpose) ✨
