nature backs - experience the moment ...
This is long, but i hope you take the time to read it. This year has been one of really uncomfortable change and transition for me in every aspect of my life. Every single thing changed. Ive changed. So, Im going through this period of growth. And I’m constantly being reminded that change doesn’t always feel nice. At least not at first, It’s full of uncertainty. Learning what you need to hold onto and what you need to let go of as you transition. And youll have to grieve whatever it is that you’re letting go of. A habit. A friend. A home. A place. A person. A routine. job. identity. The closing of a chapter. You have to grieve it so you can make room for the new. It’s not going to feel good at first, it’s going to be uncomfortable, scary even. And I think that’s often where doubt creeps in and we start second guessing ourselves. But zone into your truth and what I mean by “your truth” is your intuition. Your gut. Listen to it and I mean really freaking pay attention because underneath your fear, it’s screaming at you. You know what you need to do. As my friend reminded me yesterday, It’s like standing above a body of cold water scared to jump in. Thinking if you wait longer, you won’t be as scared or the water will get warmer. You can’t wade into change. Sometimes you just have to dive right in. It’s too often we listen to everyone else’s opinion of what we should do before listening to our own. No one knows you the way you know you. No one knows what’s best for you more than you do. Because I can promise you, if I always listened to the noise of the outside world and the endless opinions of what other wanted me to do, I would drown under the weight. And I wouldn’t be making the life decisions that I am now. Though things aren’t perfect and I never expected them to be, I’m really proud of myself. For listening to my instincts and taking control of my life and my future. And I hope that you know that you deserve to be happy, whatever that looks like for you. .

Here’s a close up of a render I posted a couple days ago. Having a photography background definitely helps when you’re playing around with 3d scenes. I love how Cinema 4d is true to life. The lenses, lights and camera settings are spot on. I mean come on...check out that shallow depth of field. I’m also really loving how the hair came out. More to come!
