Sometimes you get the flu shot and you get the flu anyway. Pretty much me, every flu season. I have too much to do to be fighting this right now 🤬. Just a little sneak peek of what we’ve been working away on over here all month at LB Creative. This has been a very special project for a client that I am so incredibly honored to work with. I’ve had to say no to a lot this year with so little bandwidth postpartum but this was just something I could not pass up and I am so excited to see it all come together later this week! It’s been an all hands on deck situation over here making what will be some epic holiday magic come to life - so much thanks to my hubs and my mom for all the extra help with baby Dakota, to @devinrlarson for all the extra hours in the shop, @evermangoods for helping build these trees, and my whole family for jumping in this weekend to get me through the home stretch before this week’s install. Oh and of course thanks to Phinney, ☝🏼for all the standing around while we worked which totally counts as moral support. 🖤

I think this is my favorite quilt I’ve made so far. It pushed me outside my default comfort zone, going for a color palette that I thought would be appeal to those “moderns” out there 🎨✨😏 I pieced this crazy idea together not fully knowing it would “work” until I had a mostly finished quilt top ✂️📐 It was my second time ever free motion quilting 😬 In short, I learned A LOT and have plans for more quilts like it in the future ✨
