HAPPY MONDAY โœจ it felt so good to get back to the gym today ๐Ÿฅณ I trained chest and triceps and considering I havenโ€™t trained them in two weeks Iโ€™m happy with how the session went. I lowered my weights slightly for all of the exercises because I needed to ease myself in - going back after being poorly and trying to do the same weights would not have been clever โŒ Iโ€™m planning on training at least 3 more times this week so Iโ€™m gonna take the same approach and just see how my body feels โ˜บ๏ธ โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ € can we also just take a minute to appreciate my new @baresswear leggings ๐Ÿ˜ Iโ€™ve heard so many good things about the brand and have wanted to try them for ages so when I saw that they were donating ยฃ5 to a cancer charity for every pink shaded item throughout October I knew I had to try them! the material is like no other leggings I own, theyโ€™re buttery soft, squat proof and really flattering. theyโ€™re high quality and a really reasonable price too. I went for the shade winter sun but this picture doesnโ€™t really do the colour justice so when it stops raining Iโ€™ll take some pictures outside. I normally order a small in leggings but I sized down as the website recommended and am glad I did, I think I could even get away with sizing down again but these do fit well. I love them and canโ€™t wait to expand my collection - one of their sports bras is definitely on the cards next because theyโ€™re so pretty ๐Ÿ’—.

HOW TO: DIET CUT
โฃโฃ
So from my last post some were asking how to do a cutting diet, soo I guess Iโ€™ll explain how I am currently doing it!  Iโ€™ve been cutting for 7 weeks now and have lost 2.5kg which is a loss of around 0.360g per week, and have done this by doing these factors below โคตโฃโฃ
โฃโฃ
โœ–๏ธ Calculate caloric measurements - I literally used a calorie calculator on the internet and just follow what it says about what my maintenance calories are. โฃโฃ
โฃโฃ
โœ–๏ธ Go into a caloric deficit - after finding my maintenance, I then minus 500 calories from it; how much you minus by depends on your own goals โฃโฃ
โฃโฃ
โœ–๏ธ Increase cardio - an obvious one, but stair climber has become my best friend โฃ
โฃ
โœ–๏ธ Organise your macros - so Iโ€™ve made sure my protein is pretty high, given you may lose some muscle on this diet, protein may also help boost fat loss; so 1.6-2.0 grams of protein per kilo is effective in my opinion! โฃโฃ
โฃโฃ
โœ–๏ธ Determine what supplements youโ€™ll need to take - I am currently on pre workout/oxyshred, BCAAs, protein powder and oxysleep. All of these supps do different things to help me feel good and boost weight loss/muscle growth, etc. (lemme know if you want me to make a separate post on what these all do) โฃโฃ
โฃโฃ
โœ–๏ธ Organise refeed days - this one is opitional, depends on your goals once again, but I have a refeed every 3 weeks to boost my metabolism and replenish lost glycogen levels that allows me to push harder at the gym โฃ

The Snatch: Top Pull & Pull Under Technique Series is a one week online course designed to help you lift more efficiently. In this series, you will be provided with warm up drills and exercises for the Snatch to learn and reinforce how to: Properly extend at the top of the pull, pull under the bar, and connect these two steps in one synchronous motion.โ €

Athletes enrolled in the course will receive a one week Technique Template containing the warm up drills, along with videos of the drills with instructional voice over. The Technique Template contains 4 days of warm up drills for the Snatch, and are intended to be performed directly before the athlete performs Snatches in their training program. The template is a supplement to a training program, and NOT a training program in itself.โ €

Athletes will also be provided with Video Analysis to ensure that the drills are being performed properly. Up to one video per drill per day can be analyzed (Day 2 has 3 separate drills, so up to one video each for a total of 3 will be analyzed).โ €

This will be our very first group, so we are offering a discounted introductory price as we are sure that we'll learn how to refine this service to give each athlete the best experience possible.
