My philosophy when it comes to my eating 👌🏼 Especially as I have a budget and don’t just buy everything I see. I get a good mix of veggies I love, satisfying sauces, plant-based and not protein options, carbs, and always include the ‘fun foods’ I desire too. This doesn’t include items like brown rice, cereal etc we have at home, obviously.

Meal plan:
🌱BBQ air-fried tempeh salads with roasted squash 🍠 (have their almond-butter turmeric 🌰 and balsamic-fig dressing at home)
🌱Greek style chicken (pre-made with orzo, spinach and feta 🧀)
🌱Salmon 🐟 with broccolini 🥦 (under waffles) and mashed sweet potato
🌱Fried eggs 🍳with toast and pesto-cauli rice
🥞Pumpkin waffles with PB, banana and maple butter (or with maple ice cream on top as dessert) .
Also love adding that pumpkin spice almond milk to coffee ☕️

Losing fat does not have to be expensive. Eating healthier foods does not have to break the bank 🔑 -

First off, I realize some of these grocery stores may not be available in your area. I’m in Chicago, so I may have access to some stores you do not.

That being said, I hope you have access to at least one of them.

Eggs, oats, potatoes and rice are a staple in my diet - and they’re all inexpensive. Remember, there’s no need to be afraid of carbs. There are a part of a healthy diet, delicious, and they will help fuel your strength workouts among other benefits.

Frozen fruits and veggies are also great for saving money. To boot, they’ll last longer and frozen veggies are often easier to prep than fresh. I like to mix frozen fruit in my Greek yogurt with stevia for a great high protein, low calorie snack.

If you buy just one leafy green, make it spinach or baby spinach. Load up on it and buy it in bulk if possible. I like using it in salads but also sautéing it as it cooks down quite nicely.

APPLE CINNAMON PANCAKES ✨ Happy thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians 🍂 I spent this weekend with family and I fully intend on spending the rest of the day relaxing + reflecting on how grateful I am for everything I have in my life, which definitely includes all of you 💛 Forever grateful to get to share with you all and do what I love everyday ✨ What are you grateful for? 🍂.

To make 👇🏼:
Combine 2 bananas, 1.5 cups of oats, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1.5 cups of plant-based milk + 1 tsp vanilla in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Cook like regular pancakes. While the pancakes are cooking, sauté 1 chopped apple in a tsp of cinnamon and a splash of maple syrup until softened and golden. Serve together with peanut butter, maple syrup + enjoy!.

Kicking off this week with an oldie but goodie. These BAKED PUMPKIN OATMEAL CUPS are one of my favorite fall breakfast recipes! 🎃🍫🍁
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They are #glutenfree and #dairyfree, SO easy to make and are perfect for #mealprep. You can make a batch today and have breakfast covered for the rest of the week. They’re delicious on-the-go straight out of the fridge or reheated with a little nut butter drizzled on top! 💯 Added bonus: They freeze really well so you could make a double batch and put half in the freezer for later. I am definitely going to be making a batch (or two) to freeze so I can have them on hand for when baby girl arrives. 💃🏻

The other great thing about these oatmeal cups is that you can customize them and add whatever mix-ins you want. Chocolate chips, walnuts and raisins all pair really nicely with the pumpkin spice flavor, but I also think cranberries, pecans, or coconut flakes would be delicious too. 🙌

Sweet potato nachos with salsa!

I wanted to prepare a similar smoothie bowl as afternoon snack, unfortunately the pitaya I bought three days ago went bad so here’s a throwback for you! 
Ingredients: 
3 frozen bananas, 1 cup frozen mango, 1 peach, 1 tbsp coconut milk, 4 tsp pitaya powder
I put one half of the pink smoothie in the freezer while preparing the purple one. 
I just added 1/2 cup of frozen blackberries and 1 tsp blue spirulina powder to the remaining smoothie base in the blender. Combine the two in a bowl and ta-da you’ve got a two toned smoothie bowl!💞💜(2servings).

Dragonfruit Smoothie Bowl by⁣ @lalasplate ⁣
You’ll need:⁣
2 frozen ripe bananas 🍌 ⁣
1/2 cup frozen dragonfruit 🌸⁣
1/4 cup frozen pineapple 🍍 ⁣
optional: 1 tbsp of your fave vanilla protein powder (I use @brawnaturals )⁣
⁣
In a high speed blender, blendddd all ingredients until smooth, thick & creamy! Around 2-3 minutes! ⁣
Tip - Scrape down sides of your blender with spatula at 30 second intervals! ⁣

If your blender is strugglinggg, you may need to add 1-2 tbsp of coconut water or almond milk to assist ⁣ .

من افضل انواع الجبن اللي بيتم اختيارها في اي نظام غذائي وده لأنها منخفضة الدهون بالنسبة للأنواع التانيه ** ال50 جم من الجبنه القريش فيها تقريبا

طبعا في ناس كتير مش بتحب الجبنه القريش 🤔 عشان كده عملناها بطريقه مختلفه 👌🏻 بشكل زي الجبنه الكريمي اتمني تجربوها وتعجبكم👍🏻 المكونات:
-قطعه قريش (قالب تقريبا 100 - 120 جم). - 3 م ك لبن ( الافضل خالي او نص دسم). - 1 م ك زيت زيتون.
- فص توم(اختياري). - زعتر(اختياري). - حبة البركه(اختياري). الطريقه:
- هنحط الجبنه في الكبه مع اللبن وفص التوم ونضربها لحد ما تنعم.
- نزود م ك زيت الزيتون ونضربها تاني لحد ما يمتزجوا كويس. - نزود الزعتر او حبة البركه او الاتنين.

اللي بيحبو الشطة ممكن يحطو معاها بتدي طعم حلو بس مش هتناسب الأطفال.

انا كلتها بالبسكوت او الرقائق اللي عملتها قبل كده، الميكس رائع جدا 😋، و كمان مع شرائح الطماطم او الخيار من غير عيش حلوه برضه جدا.
ممكن تجربوها بخس او فلفل الوان بدل العيش. **وده لينك الطريقه  بتاعة البسكوت او الرقائق المقرمشه
