Hi from China🇨🇳 My first time in Beijing! It’s really special to be here as a 4th generation Chinese American. What an incredible experience! ...
Rainy day in Hangzhou. Perfect for spending hours in the famous local tea houses, and for an excuse to finally buy one of those pretty rice paper umbrellas you’ve been eyeing for the past month.
Thanks for snapping this @chasingunique ! ...
Having this time to catch up with friends & family in the United States has given me so many opportunities to relive and re-process the amazing places I’ve visited this year.
I don’t always get to do that when I’m constantly on the move (over 20 countries in the past 6 months... yikes), so I’m feeling super grateful for some down time.
Despite China being by far the most difficult destination of the year (or, of life 😬) for me, one of my highlights from 2019 was definitely this moment: watching the sunset, and falling asleep under the stars on an abandoned section of the Great Wall of China with @destinationchaser — and on my birthday nonetheless. ✨
Who remembers our stories from this adventure?? ...
