As she stands at the edge of the ocean, her old self is a distant memory -
But her new self has yet to be found.
She looks for herself here;
In this slow moment,
Where nothing needs to be decided.
Mirrored by the ocean, she sees herself - Uncertain yet powerful. Ever changing, yet constant.
And the only truth she knows for sure, is that she has met a soul SO amazing that it is absolutely and entirely worth being completely and utterly rearranged for.
She may not know what happens next, or who she'll become,
But what she does know is that she can't quite miss her old self entirely, because it is impossible to imagine a version of her life where this sweet soul wasn't in it.
And now, at the threshold of land and sea, she stands. Though confused, and raw, and a foreigner to herself,
She is unbelievably whole. In a way she has never been before.
You are so worth it, she whispers. And she breathes it all in.💜
