My biggest blessing and also the most difficult thing I have ever done! I can’t believe it’s already been 1 month since I’ve had my baby. .
I’m still getting used to this parenting thing. The transition has been fun but also hard. I have a type A personality, I need organization, systems, and schedules but with a newborn there seems to be no such thing. .
Some moments I feel I’m not cut out for this and wonder how so many women do it! Between the feedings, pumping, diaper changes, washing of bottles, and trying to rock her to sleep I can hardly get anything done. But then I get to look at her sweet little face and my heart melts. 💕 looking forward to more learning experiences with this little one. .
Who else had found it difficult to navigate the new life with a newborn? How did you manage? ⬇️⬇️ ...

California aka the Golden Coast🌅. I recently had an interview with a Netherlands based organization. Here’s a little excerpt from my interview with them:
The Inspiring 40 2019 specifically refers to California as an example of ‘Business for Good’. Inspired by the movement that California seems to strive for, sometimes against the (national) current (specific deals with card industry in favor of the climate, for example), we question how people, whether they are an individual, group, business or a state can make a positive difference. As a citizen, how would you characterize California? Do you recognize this Calironian ambition to be a ‘state for good’? How/where do you see it?
Me: “California is a state that brought forth ambitious risk takers, innovators and dreamers. We can see this as far back as our founding during the Gold Rush, when people dared to move here and discover something new. Then we had the rush of the entertainment business with the birth of Hollywood. Followed by the Tech Boom rush of Silicon Valley, and now Green Renewable Energy with the introduction of Teslas. California is constantly seeking new opportunities with sustainable companies. We have a history of innovation. Things aren’t always perfect, but we are constantly trying new things and that can lead to good.”
