Ahh..it was a gorgeous day here in Austin today! The sunshine was out and the temperature was just right! We had an adventure down to The Long Center for our Annual Nutcracker Girls Day out! My littlest finally got to join us and it was so much fun! She stirred a bunch throughout but I think it will be a day she’ll never forget.
This is one gift that keeps on giving. The gift of time and memories and experiences. These are my favorite gifts of all. Special thanks to my aunt that started this tradition a few years ago and my Mom who treated us to this fun experience this year. Today was a beautiful day - one of those days I don’t think I’ll ever forget!
Do you like receiving gifts that include experiences? Let me know if this is your thing - what experience would you like to receive this year as a gift??? ...
(Dad, your amateur artist is participating in another group art exhibition!) .
If only I could still say this to Dad 😢and then, he might remind me I need to change my style and do more 山水畫 (landscapes) and I would tell him that the theme of this art exhibition is “Our Story” and since portraiture is my thing, I will be exhibiting only my portrait artworks. 😉
Amongst my fellow exhibiting artists is a young cancer survivor, Nicholas Yoong. I am so in awe of his courage and talent. .
Do drop by KLPAC between 10 am and 10 pm from the 16th to the 29th of December 2019 and meet Nicholas, Emily, Cassielelolea, Tantiyana, Nazzrin and me through our art. .
