Ustrasana. ♥️ So many ways to do camel pose. This pose admittedly isn’t my favorite heart opener, but I do enjoy transitioning in and out of it while I flow. The more I do it and play around with different versions of it, the better it feels in my body. 💚💚💚💚💚

While each is a bit different, what remains consistent is heart, hip and shoulder mobility. All necessary for a camel pose that feels good in the body.

So here are some deep thoughts about relationships. They bring joy, they bring pain. This is for both friendships and partnerships.  What I’ve realized about my greatest relationship pains is that the pain is coming from me blaming them. Whether it’s been girlfriends or my ex, there were always signs. To them I was an after thought but they were my first thought.  I’ve had friendships where I’ve had to make all of the effort, going out of my way to please, making time, and each time I tried and got the same result, I felt pain.  I blamed them. Why don’t they like me? What more could I do? The reality is they didn’t have to like me.  Not everyone will like me and NEWS FLASH to myself, I won’t like everyone either.  Them not liking me doesn’t diminish my worth as a human and I don’t need someone else to give me value. When you feel worthless you can’t get your fill from someone else.  IT HAS TO BE FROM YOU!  You have to love yourself completely. You have to acknowledge and cherish your faults for they have shaped you.  You have to acknowledge the you are the only you on this planet which makes you one of the rarest creations.  Know that about yourself. Know that you are perfectly unique and that this world would change without you. You are here for a purpose greater than what you can imagine but it can’t be granted if you do not acknowledge how truly special you are. ✨💗

Single Leg RDL to Hang Clean with knee drive for balance and stability.

Olympic Lifts like Clean & Jerks,  Snatches are great to improve your athletic performance and build speed, power and explosiveness. 
By making these movements unilateral you can build your single leg strength, balance and stability as well.

Some Tips:
1️⃣Please do not attempt this if you cannot perform a Single leg DL/RDL and a regular bilateral clean properly.
2️⃣I am using a sandbag and a barbell however, these can be done with Dumbbells and kettlebells as well. Each type of weights will present some unique challenge in balancing and controlling the weight.
3️⃣In this lift you need to control your power and explosiveness as you clean the weight up or you will loose balance. 
4️⃣Take a weight with which you can perform at least 5 reps without loosing your balance and control

Programming advice:
10 reps on each leg x 3 sets .
