Time and time again I did it.
-
Time and time again, when I would get back from having a nice meal out with the family, I would make myself do 100 crunches, maybe even add some push ups.
-
Didn’t really matter what time it was.  I almost always did it.
-
The reason?
-
I was panicked.  I was afraid I had gotten fat. I was afraid I had lost what progress I had made, and I wanted to reverse the “damage”.
-
And the next day?
-
I would overly restrict my calories to the point of being hungry all day, just so I could even it out.
-
I was literally punishing myself for going out for dinner.
-
Think about that.  I was punishing myself for going out with my family for dinner.
-
Sounds crazy doesn’t it?  But as crazy as it sounds, it’s not all that uncommon.
-
Look, if there’s one thing Ive learned along the way, it’s that one dinner out isn’t going to change a damn thing.
-
You’re going to feel full, maybe even a bit bloated, yes, but it’s not fat.  Fat didn’t come on our bodies over night, and it’s certainly not going away over night.
-
And this is important too:  Don’t try and over exercise on Saturday in order to make room for calories Saturday night. You will never come out ahed of the game.  It’s a futile effort, and it’s perpetuating a bad relationship with food.

So what’s the answer here?  Just hop back on track the very next meal and the very next workout.

Literally, that’s it.  You are going to be fine.

Been a really rough week... was hospitalized  with an infection and became septic.... but ya know what it was all made better with this #Nsv of a size 14... YES FOURTEEN pair of jeans. Less than a year ago i was in size 24 this accomplishment made my day and really made getting sick and missing a trip to Florida worth it! Appricate the little things in life! Love your self! Love your journey!  #workinprogress.

I’ve been working so hard to break the plateau/funk I’ve been in. I made it out of the 280s 🙌🏽, I made it out of the 270s and now I’m at 269.4 lbs 😭🙌🏽 I’m so happy and proud. My mini goal for the year is 265lbs. I can and will make it! If I can do it you can as well! Let’s get this Fam! 💪🏽🙌🏽💖💖.

Well I couldn't wait to eat today as yesterday I was soooo ill, I couldn't eat a thing (self inflicted of course 🤣) ha ha!! For brunch I had 3 lawsons skinless sausages (2.5 syns each), spaghetti 0.5 for 100g, scrambled eggs made with almond milk, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and spinach. .
For dinner Daddy bear, Mummy bear, Little bear and Baby bear enjoyed a new soup... Chickpea and red pepper for starter. Was unsure but it was delicious! 😋. For main we enjoyed mayflower chicken  curry, sw chips, broccoli and cauliflower was ace!!! .
